On Monday, hundreds of thousands of people across the United States reported outages related to mobile operators and Internet services, with the hacktivist group Anonymous claiming that the country was "under a major DDoS attack". Early yesterday, people across the USA were posting to social media that they weren't able to make calls, send text messages or access other services.
Rumors abound that the T-Mobile outage has been a cyber attack. It has taken down Instagram, Facebook, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Twitch.
