Mobile and Metro subscribers experiencing major outage in the US

T-Mobile US had 86 million customers at the end of 2019.

T-Mobile and other wireless services experienced outages in the United States Monday afternoon.

On Monday, hundreds of thousands of people across the United States reported outages related to mobile operators and Internet services, with the hacktivist group Anonymous claiming that the country was "under a major DDoS attack". That tweet even included an ominous map that showed a supposed influx of traffic to the US from other countries. Customers have been reporting that they can not make or receive calls although data appears to be unaffected.

Early yesterday, people across the USA were posting to social media that they weren't able to make calls, send text messages or access other services.

Rumors abound that the T-Mobile outage has been a cyber attack. It has taken down Instagram, Facebook, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Twitch.
