How to watch Xbox July event online: Twitch, YouTube and Facebook expected to stream big reveal

Microsoft has held one Xbox Series X games event so far, which focused on third-party projects.

Given Microsoft released a Hellblade 2 teaser during its Xbox Series X unveiling past year, it's reasonable to assume we'll see more from Ninja Theory about this upcoming title.

The Xbox Games Showcase will begin with a pre-show live-stream hosted by Keighley. We will get more information about the upcoming Halo Infinite.

The company has acquired several game studios which now form part of its Xbox Game Studios portfolio of 15 developers.

Microsoft's game showcase will kick off at 9AM PST/12PM EST on Thursday, July 23. It too will be an all-digital console at a lower price point than the Xbox Series X. This means Sony and Microsoft will be competing across two console markets. As mentioned by Microsoft, these demos will only be available via the Xbox Dashboard for a week, and while some might be re-published to the Demo channel later, a lot of them will no longer be released.

Elsewhere the only other sure bet is a look at the first next-gen Forza game from Turn 10, and perhaps a glimpse at either the next Fable or Perfect Dark. Whatever it is and seeing that the Xbox Series X launch is less than five months away, we likely won't see anything The Initiative until 2021 or even 2022. The official Xbox Twitter profile has in fact published a teaser that shows all the startup screens of the consoles born in Redmond. This is the show where we're expecting Microsoft to show off its biggest games.
