Kanye West Becomes a Billionaire, Reports Forbes

He is reported to have sent a text to a Forbes journalist saying: "You know what you're doing". Kim simply left a praise-hands emoji over Bloomberg's article on April 24, which read, "Kanye West Vaults From Broke to Billions With Yeezy in Demand".

The magazine calculated the worth of the artist's assets, including West's Yeezy sneaker collaboration with Adidas, which Forbes estimated brought him royalties of over $140 million from sales past year, properties, assets, and his G.O.O.D. record label, worth at least $90 million.

When we featured West on the cover of Forbes last summer, delving into his incredible success with Yeezy, he seemed pleased at first.

The rapper and entrepreneur is worth nearly $2 billion dollars, according to a report on Saturday by Forbes magazine.

Kanye West is officially a billionaire according to a newly published Forbes report. His music is estimated o be worth about $90 million, which includes publishing.

West is the second American rapper to make the Forbes list after Jay-Z, who made the cut previous year. More concrete, there's $53 million in listed debt.

During an appearance at the 2019 Fast Company Innovation Festival, West stated that he should have been listed as a billionaire on Forbes" Hip-Hop Cash Kings list, telling the crowd, "When I did Forbes, I showed them a $890 million receipt and they still didn't say "billionaire'".
