22 confirmed, 4 probable COVID-19 cases in Hancock County

For the fourth time in the past five days the De Kalb County Health Department has reported no new coronavirus cases locally leaving the county as of Monday at 36 including one death

County COVID-19 confirmed cases now number 117

The Kendall County Health Department in a Thursday, April 16, news release reported six more cases of COVID-19 corornavirus, bringing the total number of cases in the county to 130.

Marshall County Health Department staff are working to identify any potential persons who may have had close personal contact with these individuals. However, there are 933 negative tests that have not been assigned a county.

There are now 31,069 total cases of the coronavirus in Pennsylvania as of noon Saturday, meaning 1,628 cases are new. Probable means a health care provider and/or the DGHD has determined a person exhibits symptoms of COVID-19. Lee County has had 17 cases recorded since the pandemic declaration. Delaware County has a population of 205,559, or 74,243 households. Neither health department reports the number of those recovered.

Two more COVID-19-related deaths are reported in Wayne County where there were 74 overall cases as of Friday afternoon.

There have been three deaths attributed to the coronavirus, with a death listed Wednesday, but no further details were given.

No COVID-19 cases have been reported in Newark or Millbrook, the data shows. The DGHD website lists the United States as having 641,166 confirmed cases (an increase of over 30,000 from the day before). There have been two cases in the southwest corner and four in the northwest.

According to the state Department of Health, about 39% of positive cases in the state involve someone aged 25-49, followed by those aged 50-64 (28%) and 65 and older (24%). In comparison, more than half a million people have been tested in NY state.

No new inmate deaths have occurred at the prison due to COVID-19, and total deaths remain at four. The percentage of people 60 to 69 with COVID-19 is at 21 percent.

Anyone who believes they came into contact with someone who might have the coronavirus is advised to monitor their health and call their primary care provider if they develop symptoms, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Once again, there are no new coronavirus infections West River; and 457 people across the state have recovered.

In the state of OH, there were 8,239 confirmed cases and 175 probable cases Thursday, up from Wednesday's 7,628 confirmed and 163 probable cases.

The ODH said the number of hospitalizations is 2,331, with 707 of them ICU admissions.
