Famed guitarist John Frusciante has rejoined the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the band announced via Instagram on Sunday. "We are deeply grateful for our time with him, and the countless gifts he shared with us", the post read.
Frusciante first joined Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1988 following the death of founding guitarist Hillel Slovak, and played on 1989's Mother's Milk and 1991's Blood Sugar Sex Magik before leaving the band in 1992.
