Former NFL coach Hue Jackson had been set to lead the drills, with former NFL coach Joe Philbin in attendance to assist, the league said Thursday. The league expected additional teams to commit. Multiple outlets reported the league will not provide Kaepernick with a list of names of those attending, despite the belief the NFL had agreed to do so. "Twenty-five clubs were present for the workout, and all 32 clubs, their head coaches, general managers and other personnel executives would have received video footage of the interview and workout, shot by the Atlanta Falcons video crew". At this point it feels like a PR stunt, being that it's on a Saturday.
Free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick and his representatives are moving his workout to a new location in Atlanta on Saturday after the National Football League declined a request to allow media and cameras into the original venue.
Asked on Wednesday if the Raiders would be attending Kaepernick's event on Saturday, Jon Gruden said he didn't know and reiterated that he is focused on the Bengals right now. It's not our fault if they don't sign him.
Kaepernick has been out of the NFL since kneeling during the National Anthem in protest of police brutality and racial injustice. One of the reasons being is that Jay-Z was a staunch supporter of Kaepernick's and at one time even persuaded artists to not participate in NFL-related events.

Of course, just because Kaepernick is finally earning the opportunity to show off his skills for teams doesn't necessarily mean he's guaranteed to sign with anyone, but at least it's better than nothing. Kaepernick opted out of his contract with the 49ers at the end of that season.
He became a free agent after the 2016 season and remains unsigned.
A few players, including Panthers safety Eric Reid - who kneeled alongside Kaepernick when they were teammates in San Francisco - have described the hastily scheduled workout as "disingenuous".
That forced Kaepernick to bring his own wideouts, to avoid ending up in a bad situation.
